**Job Summary**:
The Heavy Equipment Operator reports to a Lead Hand/Foreman to assist in the installation of electrical and underground utilities. Majority of the work takes place in outdoor environments, and work environment will consist to 8-10 hours a day six day a week.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Operate Heavy Equipment (Trencher, Skid-Steer, Backhoe, Mini-Hoe).
- Competent to load/secure equipment and drive truck/trailer
- Dig, backfill, and sand trenches with heavy equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance procedures on equipment.
- Perform labour tasks as needed.
- Site setup and cleanup.
- Adapt to changing priorities.
- Work in all weather conditions.

**Requirements**:

- Valid Class 5 driver’s license required.
- Competency driving standard vehicles considered an asset.
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
- Be able to stand, kneel, crouch, bend and walk.
- Willing to work outdoor.
