Server/cashier/cook

_Whats the Scoop_ is looking for an enthusiastic, and reliable person(s) to add to our team. We're looking for someone who is willing to work collectively with our existing staff to continue to have a positive, productive and efficient environment.

Responsibilities/Duties Include;
- Opening and Closing procedures
- Currency Control, totaling bills, accepting payment, providing change and/or receipt
- Greeting and providing a positive experience for the customer encouraging them to return
- Maintaining cleanliness of the restaurant/deck during all shift
- Stocking always practicing proper FIFO techniques
- Scooping ice cream and becoming familiar with flavors and descriptions of flavors
- Communicate with kitchen staff on orders
- Familiarizing yourself with the menu, daily specials, items in pastry cabinet and in store candy/merchandise to knowledge customers accordingly
- Adhering to the restaurants service standards and dress code
- Take over the phone orders from customers, follow proper phone greeting, follow guest ordering procedures and give estimate of delivery time
- Promptly address customer service issues and refer customers to management when necessary

Qualifications;;
- Excellent oral communication skills required
- Positive interpersonal skills
- Good telephone speaking and listening ability
- Hardworking

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months
Part-time hours: 15-40 per week

**Salary**: $13.60-$15.00 per hour

Day range:

- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Shift:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- EASTERN PASSAGE, NS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- sales: 1 year (required)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
