Overview:
Wonderment Child Centre is seeking a dedicated Van Driver to join our team. As a Before
- and After-School program focused on activity and recreation. If you are passionate about providing safe transportation services and contributing to the growth and development of children, this role is perfect for you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Safely and promptly transport children to and from designated locations
- Provide excellent customer service to parents, guardians and staff during pick-up and drop-off times
- Communicate effectively with children to ensure a positive and engaging experience
- Assist with educating children on safety procedures while in the van
- Utilize commercial driving skills to navigate routes efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of van maintenance and report any mechanical issues promptly

**Requirements**:

- Class 4 driver's with a license and clean driver abstract
- Proven experience in driving vans or similar vehicles
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus
- Experience working with children or in educational settings preferred
- Commercial driving license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Strong written communication skills for record-keeping purposes
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle maintenance tasks
- Multilingual abilities are beneficial for interacting with diverse passengers

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $15.63-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
