**Responsibilities**:

- Following SOP procedures when onboarding new partner carriers that the brokerage department will be working with.
- Negotiate shipping rates with carriers and customers based on market trends and fluctuating costs.
- Ensure sales and revenue targets are being met.
- Managing activities throughout the order fulfilment and transportation cycle to make sure established deadlines are met.
- Review, audit, and approve invoices related to logistics activities.
- Working with Accounting Team to ensure customer invoices are billed correctly to the Customer and any billing discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner.

**Skills/Qualifications**:

- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and reorganize workload in order to meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment
- Knowledge of 3PL (third-party logistics) operations and supply chain management
- Previous experience in freight brokerage or related field required
- Excellent customer relationship management skills
- Strong negotiation and sales skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Troubleshooting, critical thinking and developing outside the box solutions
- Geographical knowledge of North America is an asset
- Knowledge of LoadLink and other load boards
- Team player and can collaborate with other members of our organization
- Works well under pressure

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
