**Position Overview**:
**Description and Responsibilities**:
- Assist in developing the company’s consulting service line.
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and documentation of analysis results
- Advisory areas to include strategic advice and portfolio-wide infrastructure implementation.
- Technical advisory work to include site design, equipment, and systems specification.
- Assess the feasibility and cost-effectiveness of EV charging infrastructure projects.
- Carry out and perform fleet electrification assessments and advise on transitions.
- Research, analyze, and benchmark EV charging solutions to keep the company at the forefront.
- Research, explore, and develop advice on integrated technologies such as solar PV, bidirectional charging (V2G), and battery storage.
- Provide a client facing function to build, manage and maintain client accounts
- Conduct site visits to determine the feasibility of installing electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
- Attend and contribute to conferences and symposiums on innovative charging topics.
- Aid in the company's carbon credit administration service line.
- Involvement in government relations - policies/advocacy.
**What We Are Looking For**:
- 1-3 years of experience working in construction, technical consulting, or engineering.
- The ability to work independently in a young & dynamic environment.
- Desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment with immediate responsibility.
- Experience in running cashflows and business models.
- Excellent report writing, presentation, and communication skills.
- Related Undergraduate Degree
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
**Compensation**:
Salary + Benefits
Range $70 000 - $80 000
**Place of Work**:
Even though LeadingAhead Energy currently allows for up to 2 days of hybrid work, we always highly encourage (preferred) when employees work at the office.

LeadingAhead Energy (LAE) is a Canadian based company providing electric vehicle charging infrastructure expertise. We advise and supply governments, corporate fleets, and real estate sector on the deployment of their EV charging infrastructure.
We are independent, technology agnostic and an advocate of the Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP), delivering the right charging solution for each location. You’ll be working alongside small, energetic, and dynamic team members eager to grow and become an industry leader.

LAE provides a turnkey solution to delivering EV charging projects from consulting, design, specification, hardware procurement, project management, installation and maintenance.
Having access to many different EV solutions, hardware, and software, we provide both portfolio level strategic advice and site-level technical expertise. We add value to clients’ projects by ensuring the charging service is future-proofed and delivers on the business case.
**About the Industry**
If you haven’t heard about electric vehicle by now, you are most likely not the right fit for this position. The electric vehicle space in general is currently booming. Whether it is in the charging infrastructure space, light or heavy-duty EV space, EV networks, and everything in between. With an estimated $125B in investment needed by 2030 to support the EV growth, room for growth and opportunities are substantial.
