WeirFoulds LLP is seeking a junior associate lawyer to join our thriving Media and Defamation and Aviation and Transportation Practice Group.
- Between 1-3 years of complex media/defamation commercial litigation experience
- Excellent drafting skills
- Strong legal, research, advocacy and organizational skills
- Excellent academic credentials
- Ability to work with lawyers at all levels and be a team player
- Able to balance competing demands as well as being self-motivated, innovative and flexible
- Confidence to manage files and clients independently

Your time will be split between:

- **Media and Defamation** actions, where you will be representing Canada’s national newspaper, Canada’s largest private broadcaster, major news and entertainment media organizations, prominent book publishers, media insurers and new media start-ups; and
- **Aviation and Transportation** files, where you will be representing air operators, including domestic and international air carriers, in regulatory, litigious and commercial matters.
