Directional Driller

**Directional Drill Operator & Locator**

This is a non-union Working under the supervision of the Manager. This position requires the likes of an individual who is excited to learn new skills. Must be able and willing to perform physical duties outdoors and have a clean driver abstract.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Directional drilling
- Installation of conduits
- Other duties as required

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Must be able to operate heavy equipment (Mini Backhoe, Trencher, Winch, Compressors, Directional Drills etc.) and power tools (Power Drills, Concrete Saws)
- Must be able to bend, kneel and climb during the installation process
- Must be able to safely lift loads of at least 50 lbs
- Must have the flexibility to work in restricted and tight spaces
- Must be able to manage efficiently and ensure that deadlines are met
- Must possess a valid Ontario AZR or AZ Driver’s Licence
- Provide a clean driver’s abstract & 3yrs Commercial Driving Records.
- Must understand and practice defensive driving methods
- Must wear all necessary Personal Protective Equipment provided as job function dictates
- Must identify all unsafe working conditions and not proceed with work if it endangers the technician, other workers, customers and/or the general public
- Will work in all weather conditions with overtime as required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $38.00-$43.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

- Brampton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
