Edmonton, Canada ALCO GAS & OIL PRODUCTION EQUIPMENT LTD Full time

ALCO Gas & Oil designs, fabricates, and assembles oil and gas processing equipment for the domestic and global market. Alco is seeking Pressure Vessel Fabricators to work within our production facility.
- Develop templates, Lay out patterns, Lay out plate, sheet steel and other heavy metal and mark lines, Supervise other workers, Set up and operate heavy-metal working machines to cut and shape metal into parts, Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications, Fit plate or sheet steel work, Perform stress relieving acts for vessels, Rig and hoist equipment, Erect and dismantle scaffolds and other platforms

- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate

**Area of specialization**
- Pressure vessels, Stacks, towers and furnaces

**Transportation/travel information**
- Own transportation

**Work conditions and physical capabilities**
- You will work in a large manufacturing facility with other trades present
- Outside/inside work
- Fast-paced environment, tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, attention to detail
- Standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, physically demanding
- Own tools/equipment
- Steel-toed safety boots
- Longer than 10.0 hour work days may be required with short notice, must be available to work weekends when needed
