Kiewit is hiring **Pipelayers** for the **KEV partnership**, **Stage 2 Ottawa LRT Confederation Line Extension Project**.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum **2 years** of pipe laying experience
- Must have **laser experience** (Set up a pipe laser, cut up and rotate lasers)
- Experience working with large pipe (40 inches)

**Shift**
- Potential for Day or Night shifts
- Monday - Friday, 10hrs + Overtime
- OT pay

**Duties Include**
- Install and/or repair water-main, sanitary, and storm
- Co-ordinate layout of pipe routes with drawings, and check slopes for conformance to requirements using levels and/or lasers
- Connect pipes and seal joints using glue, cement, gaskets and/or flanges
- Grade, level trench base, and back fill pipe using tamping machine and hand tools
- General labor and construction related duties

**Salary**: $34.36-$35.05 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Retention bonus

**Experience**:

- Pipe Laying: 2 years (preferred)
- Pipe Laser: 1 year (preferred)
