**_ The purpose of this job is to provide all aspects of IBM MQ administration and provide technical guidance and support to junior (Level 1) Control-M(CM) administrators._**

**_ _**

**_ This position will also handle escalated incidents and perform root cause analysis of any problems that may arise out of Incident Report (IR) and/or proactive needs for business._**

**_ Responsibilities_**:**_ _**

**_The main responsibilities include: configuration, implementation and support of IBM MQ. _**

**_Understand business requirements and design solutions accordingly._**

**_ _**

**_Ensure quality standards in release._**

**_ _**

**_Take care of incidents, escalate to Client or third parties as necessary._**

**_ _**

**_Perform root cause analysis for Priority (P1/P2/P3/P4) incidents and/or proactively based on business needs._**

**_ _**

**_Work with the right teams within Genpact, Client or third parties for the implementation of change._**

**_ _**

**_Follow the required policies and procedures for the incident, problem and change management._**

**_ _**

**_Ensure service performance expectations are met with service levels and quality._**

**_ _**

**_ _**
- **_Raise/escalate any service related issues and risks to Genpact Track lead and/or client._**

**_ _**
- **_Knowledgeable about the MQ Architecture._**

**_ _**
- **_Familiarity with Windows, Linux Operating system._**

**_ _**
- **_Hands-on experience with MQ installation, configuration and Disaster Recovery (DR) procedures._**

**_ _**
- **_Has worked on multiple MQ Fixpacks/Patching._**

**_ _**
- **_Has worked on a MQ Migration._**

**_ _**
- **_Thoroughly understands the following MQ topics,_**

**_ _**

**_ o_** **_MQ Installation and Configuration._**

**_ _**

**_ o_** **_MQ Point to Point Setup._**

**_ _**

**_ o_** **_MQ Server and Client Architecture._**

**_ o_** **_MQ Secured Socket Layer (SSL) Certificate implementation._**

- **_Hands on experience on MQ migration and Upgrade._**

- **_Knowledge of Replicated Data Queue Manager (RDQM) MQ High availability._**

- **_Raising a Case/Problem Management Report (PMR) with IBM._**

- **_Has worked with MQ support on Level 3 issues._**

- **_Must have good trouble shooting and analytical skills. _**
- **_Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)._**

- **_Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and troubleshooting._**
