Handyman/maintenance Technician

Our company is looking for a Repair Technician to join our team. The position is low maintenance and relaxed. Repair technicians receive a company vehicle for work purposes. You must be able to work independently.

**Responsibilities**:

- Completes required compliance documentation, log books, timesheets, etc. when executing duties. Maintains an assortment of common spare parts;
- Complete general maintenance in the treatment homes;
- Prepare and organize waste and recycling bins to maintain order and cleanliness in the garbage room;
- Complete flooring (i.e. laying down tile, flooring, etc);
- Ensuring upkeep of the properties interior and exterior;
- Responsible for completing basic plumbing (i.e. replacing toilets, faucets, sinks, etc);
- Basic electrical (i.e. replacing light switches, etc);
- Other duties as assigned;
- Drywall & Painting;
- Follow written procedures or oral directions for preventative maintenance;
- Carpentry (finish and rough);
- Basic knowledge of appliance repair;
- Maintaining water treatment system in treatment home (i.e. changing filters, etc);
- Suggest improvements to preventive maintenance processes;
- Power Washing;
**Requirements**:

- Handle all building maintenance required and when necessary, contract sub-trades including: Electrical and plumbing repairs;
- Completion of any other duties as assigned;
- Strong attention to detail, problem solver, in a fast-paced environment;
- Work effectively both independently and within a team environment;
- Promote an atmosphere of team work at all times;
- Certified driver’s license
- Possession of your own tools

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 24-40 per week

**Salary**: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
