Camp Cook

Camp Cook is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the camp on a day-to-day basis, including meal preparation, light housekeeping, inventory, and administrative tasks. Camp Cook will ensure that all service standards are met. The position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, customer service skills, and the ability to respond to a variety of different situations at all times. Cleaning will consist of the camp common areas including hallways, dining room, bathrooms and bedrooms. Bedrooms only need to be cleaned before being moved into, or after someone has moved out. Mining work site will be located outside of Dawson City, Yukon. Housing and food provided on site (no additional charge). Work schedule will be 12 days on 2 days off, 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. shifts. Seasonal work starting from April to September. Initial travel out to the camp will be paid for by the company. Employees who do not stay for the full season will be required to reimburse this amount upon leaving. Additional travel back and forth (not work related) will be at employee’s expense.

- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)

- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

- Dawson, YT Y0B 1G0: Relocate with an employer provided relocation package (preferred)
