Pizzeria Ludica is a licensed full-service pizza restaurant with locations in Vancouver, near Stadium Skytrain station, and New Westminster, near Columbia station. We're the one with hundreds and hundreds of board and card games. :)

Our New Westminster location is in need of a new FOH staff member, with a mix of hosting and serving shifts. The hosting role involves answering phones, managing reservations and waitlists, and table maintenance — just generally being a jack
- or jill-of-all-trades and being helpful where needed. The serving role requires Serving It Right accreditation for the serving of alcohol, and will require the staff member to wait tables and prepare simple cocktails and coffee-based beverages. (If you don't have Serving It Right, you will just receive hosting shifts until you acquire that.)

The shifts last from late-afternoon/early-evening to late-evening (but we're not open super-late).

We want to hear from you if you:
... are friendly and outgoing
... work well in a team
... have a good working attitude
... have good availability on weekends, when we need people the most
... well-organized
... skilled at speaking English — it doesn't have to be your first language, but one of your duties will be answering phones so you should be super-comfortable conversing in it.

... experience interacting with people in a professional or customer service setting, especially serving or bartending
... familiarity with Italian cuisine and food terminology
... experience preparing espresso-based drinks
... familiarity with and/or an interest in board games, especially newer ones from the last 20 years or so
