**Primary Objective of the Position**:
Safe and timely processing of Cargo and aircraft loading/offloading within prescribed parameters. This position is a Fixed-Term Contract for 3 Months. Shift Days/Hours: Full-Time, Contract Morning, Weekends, Stat Holidays, Monday to Friday: 1300 to 2100

**Essential Position Functions**:

- Repeated and continuous lifting of packages up to 60lbs.
- Sort packages based on customer, airport of destination, and other parameters.
- Communicate piece counts, and package information to Lead Hands, and Supervisors.
- Handle customer packages, and freight with due care and attention.
- Ensure all safety and security protocols are adhered to.
- Perform tasks associated with Dangerous Goods Handling/Acceptance.
- Meet time sensitive deadlines for freight build-up/breakdown as part of a team dynamic.
- Able to effectively operate the forklift within the warehouse considered a strong asset.
- Perform general housekeeping duties as required.
- Assist on the ramp as and when required.
- Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
Working in and around aircraft daily.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- High School Graduate or equivalent experience.
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License or equivalent.
- Possession of RAIC pass (Transport Canada Security Clearance).
- D/A considered an asset.
- Ability to work within a “team first” environment, and complete common goals within time sensitive deadlines.
- Excellent punctuality, and attendance habits.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to fast changing customer requirements.
- Willingness to take direction with a keen interest in further development within the Vancouver operation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills.
