Hdd Locator

Canadian Western Infrastructure is looking for experienced HDD - Horizontal Directional locator to lead our drill crew and join our team. We currently have a long term project in Brooks, Alberta and two years of project backlog in Alberta.

**ROLE**:

- Directional Drill locator to drill on smaller drills from Ditch Witch JT-10 to JT-30
- Work schedule varies from week to week - standard 8 to 12 hr days (Mon to Sat) Main project is in Brooks, Alberta installing the new Brooksnet network. (Subsistence Allowance will be provided when required. $50 per day and housing provided.)

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- **Lead the drill crew maintaining safety and production standards of CWI**:

- Operate and maintain drilling equipment and electronics
- Guarantee accordance with all Company and Customer drilling procedures.
- Ensure all safety documentation is fulfilled.
- Complete pre-drilling bore plans and data logging of bore path.
- Properly secure and transport directional drill to work site and safely off-load
- Ability to read locates, and any underground facility plans/drawing
- Ability to think and react to changing conditions quickly

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Minimum 2 years Drilling on similar sized HDD Rigs.
- Experience with Subsite TK, TKQ Recon4 locating equipment, including data log.
- CSTS, Global Ground Disturbance
- Must have Valid class 5 Drivers License
- LOA $50 per day
- Accommodations provided
- Site setup. Signs, Cones, Barricades.

**Salary**: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 70 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
