Guitar Instructor

We are looking to have someone instruct guitar for 1 - 2 days to start. The setting would be one-on-one with a student, instructing them in guitar, based on their needs. Ideally we are looking for someone that could start as early as 3:30 p.m. to accommodate after school students. This is a sub-contracted position. We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
**Responsibilities**:
- Instruct students one-on-one in private setting in the disciplines of guitar
- Provide students with strong technical elements in their musical discipline of choice
- Encourage students to further their musical training in a positive manner
- Communicate with heads of The Studio about recitals, performances, requests, timelines, and progress.
**Requirements**:
- Post-secondary education in Music or equivalent experience within the field
- Ability to work a weekday starting in early afternoon through evening
- Strong ability to instruct guitar in various levels and styles
- Experience working with children, youth & adults
- Flexible teaching style to adapt to individual student needs
- Strong proficiency in their instrument
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with others
- Up to date Vulnerable Sector Check
**Not Required but Considered Assets to the Role**:
- Performing/ Recording Artist
- bilingual in French
- knowledge of guitar gear and music culture
