AMANST Inc. is looking for **Intermediate Project Manager **for a contract opportunity with Ontario Government.

**Estimated Business Days**: 106 days with extension

**Must Haves**
- Experience with and knowledge of Project Management concepts (e.g. project goals, risk, scope, participant roles, planning and quality management)
- Proven analytical background and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent Communication skills both verbal and written, and strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Time Management, with the ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritize multiple projects
- Collaboration, coordinating tasks, and ensuring that everybody works together effectively, this also involves conflict resolution
- Minimum 4 to 6 years’ experience project managing electronic health-related projects, ideally with experience deploying clinical software systems
- Public Sector Healthcare IT projetcs Experience is Must.
- Requirements gathering from Project Management perspective will be an important skill for this role.

**Deliverables include, but are not limited to**:

- Business analysis plan, requirements management plan, business requirements document, system requirements specification, product backlog, business analysis communication plan etc.
- Configuration specifications and business analysis requirements
- Project Risk/Issue Management
- Project charters, Project Plans, Statements of Work
- Configuration specifications and business analysis requirements
- Service Management Documentation & Warranty Support

**Responsibilities**:

- Accountable for on time, on budget completion of assigned projects following the Agency’s project governance framework and project management methodology
- Responsible for resource management, scope management, budget and schedule management for the assigned projects
- Maintain sound working relationship and effective communication with project stakeholder and team
- Develop project charters, business requirements documents, project plans and other project artifacts as required
- Define business problems via in-depth investigation and gathering of technical and non-technical information to help design, document and maintain system processes
- Construct workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications
- Organize and lead project team meetings
- Ensure effective project change control including managing IT RFCs and deployments to the various environments
- Provide financial forecasts, actual against budget tracking and report progress to stakeholders
- Ensure project reporting and forecasting is timely, accurate and appropriate for the various stakeholders
- Follow the Ontario Health methodologies and provide feedback for continuous improvement and adhering to Ontario Health policies and standards, including privacy, security and architecture.
- Manage transition of the product/project/work package to an operational environment
- Contribute to the development and management of support guides, tools, templates and supports for inclusion in toolkits for customers, as required.
- Responsible for managing working relationship with delivery partners and facilitating resolution of problems, complaints, queries and concerns, escalating issues as necessary
- Liaise with stakeholders to address issues of mutual interest and resolve issues of concern; support client satisfaction by providing consistent, proactive and responsive stakeholder management services

**Desired Skills**:

- Experience using agile delivery tools and methods (JIRA Software / Confluence, Microsoft Office tools: Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.) is an asset
- Certifications/courses in scaled agile frameworks (i.e, SAFe) and agile scrum methodologies (i.e PMI Agile Certified Practitioner) is an asset
- Professional certifications: Project Management Professional; Knowledge and understanding of Project Management’s Institute’s Project Management Body of Knowledge
- Demonstrated project management software skills and experience e.g. MS Project, MS Teams etc.
- College/University undergraduate degree in Health, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related discipline from a recognized institution or equivalent experience - desired
- Understanding of Ontario’s digital healthcare landscape
- Experience with health system business implementation projects, ideally in the pharmacy, public health and primary care sectors.
- Proven track record working with health care professionals; direct clinical data experience or experience working with clinicians would be an asset
- Experience in liaising with customers/stakeholders where customer service was a key focus to responding to queries, issues/risk management, etc.
- Relationship building, facilitation and influencing skills to successfully partner with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to readily identify, assess and mitigate implementation and adoption issues
