**Who Are You?**

You have some experience doing landscape maintenance, and the confidence to jump in and get your hands dirty. You love to be moving, and you know your way around a line trimmer, blower and mower. You want to be part of a bigger team, want to listen, learn and contribute, and love being active outside. We want to hear from you.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- a valid G2 or G driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract (required)
- a minimum of 1 year of related job experience (preferred)
- experience using line trimmers, blowers, mowers, hedge trimmers and related small engine equipment (preferred)
- willingness to learn and work as part of a team
- love of being outdoors and of getting your hands dirty
- knowledge of plants & plant care practices an asset
- eagerness to jump in to new situations and learn quickly
- excellent time management and prioritization to get the job done

**What’s the Job?**

Landscape Maintenance Technicians work with our landscape maintenance team to care for the lawns and gardens of mostly residential clients in midtown Toronto. You’ll work with lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers and hedge trimmers and learn how to properly weed, prune, and hedge ornamental gardens. As a landscape maintenance technician with Gardenzilla, you will be responsible for:

- working 40-45 hours per week, beginning at 7 a.m. and ending between 3 and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday (no weekends)
- maintaining a regular, tight route of urban properties on a weekly or biweekly basis
- cutting & trimming lawns
- keeping hard surfaces (walkways, patios, driveways) sparkling clean with trimmers and blowers
- weeding, edging, pruning & hedging to help keep gardens looking spiffy
- above all, helping busy Torontonians be proud of their properties

- industry-leading pay of $20-23/hour for maintenance technicians and $23.50-27/hour for leads (based on experience)
