**Class 1 Truck Driver Position**

Cascadia Metals Ltd. Brandon is looking to hire a **Class 1 truck driver** for our branch.

We are looking for a driven team member, who shares our champion mindset and values. This individual will be working as the face of our business, providing an enhanced customer service experience for our customers.

Employee must wear steel toe boots

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure compliance of all safety regulations within your job function
- Ensure product integrity during transit
- Clean and maintain your company vehicle
- Represent Cascadia well to our customers
- Effectively problem solve any day to day issues
- Communicate with stakeholders and team members in a professional manner
- Must be able to fill out standard drivers' daily logbooks
- filling out paperwork for incoming/outgoing materials
- do pre-trip inspections Daily trips only - No overnight trips.

**Skills/Qualifications**:

- be experienced or willing to learn about proper load securement and tarping flat deck loads.
- be able and willing to work within Cascadia's safe work procedures and policies.
- be comfortable with driving and working in all weather conditions.
- Class 1 license with Air Brake certification
- Provide a clean driver abstract
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to lift 75 lbs safely.
- Mechanical aptitude - Willing and able to perform basic maintenance on equipment.
