Bar Manager

We are looking for a Bar Manager, dedicated to exceeding expectations of both our members and guests to ensure the highest level of service is consistently provided. Teamwork is the key to success in providing a warm and personable experience.
The role is to provide an energetic and exciting bar, with classic and creative cocktails.
The Bar Manager will provide great leadership, motivation and direction to the bar team. Oversee the quality, consistency, presentation and service. Maintain and push to always improve the high standards the club has, and provide a culture for bartenders that allows them to grow and feel proud of the team they work with and their personal achievements.
You must be knowledgable and constantly educating yourself on new trends. You work best when you collaborate with your peers and team to create the very best. The club looks for career focused professionals that are excited to experience all this industry has to offer.
We are a unique and engaging environment, wages are competitive, health benefits are provided along with other perks. Members of the club are not allowed to give gratuities to the employee's, this is considered in the rate and benefits that are provided.

WHO WE ARE
In 1889, a group of gentlemen in Vancouver decided to form a club where they could get together and enjoy each other's company over a meal, and talk about politics, social concerns and their business. Our current sophisticated 5 storey building was established in 1913 and The Club is a place for entertaining, for business, for extraordinary events, for sumptuous cuisine and exclusive wine bottling; it’s a place to experience the best that life has to offer, and in the finest company. It has a unique role in the history of the city as one of the primary social organizations for many of the city's and the province’s most prominent citizens.
