Nepean, Canada DEMARCO CONSTRUCTION LIMITED Full time

DeMarco Construction located at 195 Menten Place, Ottawa, Ontario K2H9C1 is a well-established and reputed construction company in Ottawa, Ontario specializing in residential and commercial development projects including land development and architectural services. We urgently require 5 full-time construction labourers for new and ongoing development projects. The applicants must be hardworking and ready to undertake the challenges of working on the construction sites. Previous experience in home construction and safety training is an asset.

**As a Construction labourer your tasks and duties will include the following**:

- Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas.
- Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades required at construction sites.
- Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
- Assist tradespersons such as carpenters, bricklayers, cement finishers, roofers and glaziers in construction activities.
- Assist in demolishing buildings using prying bars and other tools, and sort, clean and pile salvaged materials.
- Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment.
- Operate pneumatic hammers, vibrators and tampers as directed.
- Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.
