**Athabasca University's Library and Scholarly Resourcesis currently recruiting for the position of Casual
- Repository and Digital Preservation Services Support.**

**Anticipated Start Date: April 1, 2024**

This casual position will provide support for AUSpace upgrade and consolidation of AUSpace, DTheses and DTPR.

**Specific activities include, but are not limited to**:

- Conduct a content audit on AUSpace, DTheses, and DTPR and document the procedures.
- The audit will provide the Library Digital Preservation Committee with the data they need to determine data migration priorities.
- The audit will investigate metadata used in each submission form and compile a report on it.
- The audit will involve working with the library web project & services team towards understanding metadata requirements for the consolidated repositories and towards developing a metadata schema.
- Attend and contributes to Digital Preservation Committee planning meetings

**Qualifications**:

- Experience working in academic libraries (current students in library technician or library and information studies programs)
- Attention to detail
- Communication skills
- Knowledge of digital preservation and archives is an asset
- Familiarity with institutional repositories in academic libraries is an asset

**Anticipated Hours**:6-10 hours/week.**

**Work Location: Virtual.**
