Buying & Allocation Analyst

**(a) Data Analysis**:

- Analyse historical sales data, inventory levels, and market trends to forecast future demand accurately.
- Utilize statistical methods and forecasting techniques to predict product demand across different locations and channels.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify potential stockouts or excess inventory and execute pulling back of inventory.

**(b) Allocation Planning**:

- Develop allocation strategies based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and sales targets.
- Determine optimal inventory distribution to different locations or channels to meet customer demand while minizine shipping costs and excess inventory.
- Collaborate with product management to ensure timely replenishment of inventory based on allocation plans.
- Work with visual merchandising to ensure the mix of products meets merchandising plans.

**(c) Inventory Optimization**:

- Develop inventory replenishment strategies to maintain optimal stock levels across studio locations and distribution centre.
- Determine appropriate inventory levels for each SKU based on lead times, sales velocity, seasonality, and studio capacity.
- Execute studio pullbacks to ensure the right mix of product for sales and visual merchandising strategy.

**(d) Inventory Planning and Control**:

- Generate inventory plans and replenishment schedules to support sales targets and studio capacity.
- Monitor inventory levels, aging stock, and stockouts to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Analyse inventory turnover, pullback cost and other key performance indicators to optimize inventory investment and reduce obsolescence.

**(e) Buying and product management**:

- Perform the administrative functions supporting the buying team, including purchase order management, while building foundational merchant skills.
- Develop and demonstrate product knowledge through sharing information with Buyer as a result of competitive shopping and analyzing the P&F stores and assortments.
- Ensure timely delivery of merchandise through communication with the buying team and external vendors.
- Support Buyers in preparation of key business meetings (i.e. vendor appointments, product go to market meetings, assortment planning)
- Provide basic analysis of key business data and reporting, including the monitoring of merchandise reports, Open-To-Buy, stock analysis and other ad hoc reports.
- Effectively utilize the internal software systems including Shopify platform and Apps, as well as Apparel Magic ERP and PLM software.

**(f) Collaboration and Communication**:

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, operations, and finance to align inventory plans with business objectives.
- Communicate inventory forecasts, allocation plans, and inventory status updates to stakeholder to ensure alignment and facilitate decision-making.

Vacation: 3 weeks

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
