A Careers in Motion student will work with a dynamic team of business professionals within a Transportation and Logistics business unit.

Sunbury Transport is currently seeking an
**Operations Analyst Student **to join our team. This position will be based in
**Saint John, New Brunswick**.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work with operational teams on complete analytics project cycle: framing problem, identifying sources of data, selecting methodology for solution, modeling, and deploying solution
- Develop understanding of business processes and analyze operational data to support daily management, decision making, and building alerts
- Understand key metrics and build dashboards to enable efficient and effective management
- Financial analysis and recommendations to support decision making
- Support and participate in continuous improvement projects
- Ad hoc and project work
- Analysis presentation to internal and external parties
- Play a key role in process automation within the business

**Qualifications**:

- Strong analytical skills and understanding of statistics
- Ability to use Cognos, Alteryx, PowerBI, Tableau or other tools to build reports and data visualizations
- Understanding of data management would be considered an asset
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
