Manco HR is a leader in the staffing industry and we are looking for **CNC Lather Operators** for a very reputable client in **Newmarket, ON.**

**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to perform various machining operations such as turning, facing, drilling, and threading.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to determine machining requirements.

Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials for each job.

Monitor machine operations to ensure parts are produced within tolerance and quality standards.

Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine operation, tooling, and programming.

Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

**Requirements**:
Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.

Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC lathe machines.

Strong knowledge of machining techniques, tooling selection, and machine programming.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Attention to detail and quality with a focus on producing accurate and precise components.

Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in machining or related field preferred.

**Hours of work**:
Afternoon shift is Monday to Friday from 5pm to 3:30am.

**Salary**: $18.00-$28.00 per hour
