**The bigger picture**

We are seeking a highly reliable and trustworthy individual with a strategic mindset to join our team as a proactive Financial Advisor. In this role, you will take the initiative to build and expand a robust book of business, establishing solid and trusting relationships with our valued members. Your primary objective will be to proactively reach out to potential clients and existing members to understand their financial aspirations, determine their priorities, and assist them in achieving their ultimate financial goals.

**How you’ll be spending your time**
- Proactively Build and Expand Book of Business: Demonstrate proactive efforts in identifying and engaging with potential clients, as well as nurturing relationships with existing members to build a strong and diverse book of business.
- Working closely with our members daily to help them work toward realizing their individual financial goals.
- Building solid relationships and becoming a trusted financial partner, working with other business lines, such as Credit Union Dealer Finance and the Mobile Mortgage Specialists teams, to uncover and identify member needs through meaningful conversations.
- Providing solutions and alternatives, including accounts and mid-level consumer investments and lending products and services (consumer loans, mortgages, terms, registered products, mutual funds) to meet new and existing needs of our members.
- Helping to educate our members on the value of our products and services and striving to provide the most up-to-date and relevant financial information available.

**The experience you bring**
- Passion for finances and providing solutions
- Experience working in a customer care/customer service role
- Experience in portfolio management
- Licensed to sell Mutual Funds; or working towards this designation
- Genworth/CMHC online training
- First Canadian Title Training
- Registered Retirement Consultant designations; or working towards this designation
