This is a contract, on-site role located in Paris, ON for an Unlicensed Assistant at Vlaar Financial | iA Private Wealth. The Unlicensed Assistant role is to assist the Office Manager and Wealth Advisor with performing administrative tasks, client communication, documentation and providing support as required to ensure smooth operation of the business.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or post-secondary education in a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced office environment, preferably in the financial industry or related field.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of financial products, services, and regulatory guidelines is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others, including communicating clearly and honestly.

Note: The role of the Unlicensed Assistant in an Advisor Office does not involve providing financial advice or making investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities
- Completing and maintaining paperwork and account documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Ensuring all client information and interactions are accurately documented using the office CRM.
- Understanding the required documentation for all client account types.
- Assist with opening new client accounts, updating client accounts, etc and ensure proper documentation is completed and received as required.
- Following up with clients on missing documentation as per industry regulatory requirements.
- Prepare for and follow up on client meetings, ensuring all necessary information is prepared and available.
- Processing client transactions, such as account transfers, deposits, withdrawals, etc.
- Monitor and ensure account activity and transactions are timely and accurate, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Respond to client inquiries and requests in a professional and responsive manner
- Resolving issues and implementing client transactions expeditiously and accurately
- Recommending ways to provide additional value to clients and increase office efficiencies
- Developing, distributing and maintaining client communication and marketing materials
- Organizing client events and sponsorship activities
- Identifying opportunities to acquire additional assets and/or increase revenue with existing clients (e.g. referrals, consolidation of assets, insurance, etc.)

If Licensed, role would also entail:

- Gathering research and product information from internal and external sources
- Entering client trades as directed by client and/or advisor
- Staying up-to-date with regulatory rules and trading activities regarding client accounts
- Preparing, analyzing and presenting reports, marketing concepts, insurance plans, annual trading summary, etc.
- Committing to professional development

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.18-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (required)

**Experience**:

- Financial services: 2 years (preferred)
