Grocery Associate

**Job Summary**
High volume specialty market, looking for an EXPERIENCED GROCERY CLERK to join our team.

Only experienced applicants will be considered.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately using POS systems.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, ensuring products are properly displayed.
- Assist with restocking shelves and inventory management to ensure product availability.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and improve overall customer satisfaction.

**Skills**
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and providing change accurately.
- Experience in cashiering and operating POS systems is preferred.
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
- Proficiency in English is required for effective communication within the team and with customers.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$27.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
