Hot Shot Driver

Aureus is a busy and growing Water Management company in Clairmont. We are looking for a Hot Shot Driver to join our Operations Team.

**Role**

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for safe driving, onsite locating, and delivering / pick up of mobile/semi-permanent equipment in a field Oil & Gas setting, ensuring equipment is regularly maintained and in acceptable working order.

Job duties:

- Safely driving and spotting mobile/semi-permanent equipment in field operations settings
- Safe operation of various equipment around small and large machinery
- Responsible for daily safe operations
- Minor repairs to equipment
- Performing regular and preventative maintenance on Fleet
- Complete Pre-trip, enroute inspections, and daily logbooks
- Use company issued FOB and equipment in a safe and responsible manner
- Other duties as required

**Job Requirements**

Experience & Training
- Must possess and maintain a clean driver’s abstract.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with Class 1/3/ 5 and air brake endorsement.
- Understanding of heavy equipment is an asset
- Must maintain all requires safety tickets; including, but not limited to: First Aid, H2S Alive, WHIMIS & CSO
- Experience transporting hazardous products or dangerous goods
- Ability to perform emergency roadside repairs
- GPS Training
- Experience and understanding of Microsoft Office

Physical Requirements
- Must be physically fit and able to pass our pre-employment screening
- Physical requirements include bending, safely lifting up to 25 kg, working in a noisy and sometimes dusty environment, pull/push and stairs
- Able to climb ladders and stairs, work at heights
- Willing to work outdoors and in inclement weather
- Travel to remote regions on winter roads with potential to work alone
- Able to work nights, weekends, holidays

- Must have legal authorization to work in Canada on a full-time basis for anyone other than your current employer
