**Job Summary**
Monster Plow Truck Drivers & Site Operators are responsible to lead up a small team of snowfighters (1 to 3 people) in the professional clearing and deicing of private roadways, parking lots, driveways, sidewalks, walkways, steps, and other public areas in a safe and efficient manner. You will be assigned a specialized truck with a snow plow, a salt spreader, and a list of sites in Toronto, for which you will remain responsible throughout the entire winter. As a company, we are contracted by many of Toronto's premiere establishments, businesses, and residences.

**Requirements**:
**Training and Experience**
- **Minimum of 2 years** of commercial snow removal or related experience
- Minimum successfully attained high school diploma
- Clean Driver’s Abstract (one minor infraction is okay)
- Minimum 5 years of insured driving experience with a **G-level license**:

- Excellent winter driving abilities with any type of automatic transmission vehicle, often in tight or narrow quarters
- Good verbal and written interpersonal communication skills
- Must know how to use simple consumer technology (Android Tablet, Smart Phone)

**Job Duties**
- Maintain intimate knowledge of the scope of work at all assigned sites, and remain personally committed to high quality performance of the work at all times
- Operate pickup truck mounted snowplow and spreader to remove ice and snow from private properties.
- Direct and manage small crew while ensuring all assigned duties are performed properly and safely at all times throughout each shift
- Perform routine equipment maintenance/repair tasks such as changing vehicle fluids, fueling, greasing, painting, etc.
- Comply with all safety precautions, operational procedures, directions, rules, policies, and regulations
- Ensure all assigned crew members are following rules and directions at all times
- Safely operate specialized pickup truck with snow plow and salt spreader
- Routinely communicate with dispatch and management, watch the weather for snow
- When the snow flies, arrive at our yard in Toronto for your scheduled time to commence each shift
- Go solo, or manage a small team of assistant snowfighters to successfully complete all assigned work
- Work every time it snows, freezing rains, etc... (we do a lot of salting)
- Winter contract **starts November 1st** and runs to April 30th
- On-call 24 hours per day, 7 days per week
- Start at $29 to $41 per hour, depending on experience
- Work anywhere between 0 to 40 hours per week
- **Guaranteed standby pay** of 15-20 hours per week, even if it doesn't snow
- **Eligible for monthly performance bonus of up to $600.00**:

- Centrally located, must live within a maximum of 1 hour traveling distance from Yorkdale mall in Toronto
