Seasonal Yard Attendant

H&N Logistics, LLC is a food-grade logistics company headquartered in Madison, WI, with additional locations in Bowling Green, OH, Uvalde, TX, and locations in Ontario, Canada.

**Position Overview**:
**Main Responsibilities**:

- Directing traffic flow within the yard to ensure efficient movement of trailers and vehicles;
- Inspecting trailers to ensure they are washed out and sanitized in compliance with Food Safety Requirements;
- Power-washing trailers to maintain cleanliness and meet Food Safety Requirements;
- Clearing Bill of Ladings with Customs Broker, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and promptly;
- Communicating effectively with drivers regarding yard procedures, trailer inspections, and any necessary documentation;
- Assisting with general yard maintenance tasks as needed.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, and Excel)

**Requirements**:

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specific instructions;
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively;
- Reliable transportation to and from our Chatham shipping facility;
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions;
- Any other tasks assigned as required

**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $16.55-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
