Sheetmetal Tradesman/woman

Responsibilities:

- Install insulation and cladding on walls and roof of round structures
- create cuts and attachments in professional manner to ensure final product is clean and presentable to industrial clients
- Measure and mark dimensions on sheet metal using measuring tools
- Cut, shape, and bend sheet metal using power tools or hand tools
- Inspect and troubleshoot sheet metal systems for defects or malfunctions
- Help crew with Tank Erection and other construction work
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure project completion on time

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sheet Metal or similar role in insulation and cladding
- Proficient in caulking, heavy equipment operation and construction
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in the construction industry
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

**Salary**: $30.00-$36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 - 70 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Construction: 5 years (preferred)
- Skilled Labor: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver's License (preferred)
- EWP, Fall Arrest, CSTS and others (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- British Columbia (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 75% (preferred)
