Lawn maintenance and/or gardener
Spring lawn preparation involves lawn sweeping/raking, rolling, aerating, etc. Must be able to use riding mowers, push mowers, trimmers and blowers for summer/fall lawn cutting. Work can be weather dependent. Some work is very labour intensive.
Gardening involves raking, weeding, edging, trimming, mulching, planting, etc. Established and new installations. Labour intensive in hot and cold weather.
Could lead to further employment. Winter snow plowing using tractor or truck. Shoveling involved.
Attention to detail is a must. Driver's license and clean driving abstract is a must. Expected start is April 1 or weather dependent (could be sooner if able, later if grass is not growing)
Wage based on experience. 8am start and work until jobs are completed (4pm - 6pm typical) May be some Saturdays to start season.
Resume required. Driver's licence required.
**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 60 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
**Experience**:
- landscaping: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driver's Licence (required)
