**Position Description**
Reporting to the Executive Director and above, the Engineering Manager will oversee the entire engineering, repair and maintenance of all existing and new stores. He/She will manage a team of engineering officers and collaborating with other teams such as project management etc. to ensure that the storefront is completed according to the company’s vision. The overall objective of the Engineering Manager is to ensure that machineries and all equipment are on standards and working in its outmost efficiency.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Oversee general repairs and maintenance of the stores and manage day-to-day activities of an engineering team by providing coaching and guidance.
- Supervise and inspect the installation of mechanical equipment, fixing and repairing ice machines, blenders, other machineries and tools of the stores.
- Plan and manage projects, and prepare material, cost and timing estimates, reports and design specifications for machinery and equipment.
- Conduct research into the feasibility, design, operation and performance of mechanisms, components and systems.
- Develop maintenance standards, schedules and programs.
- Investigate mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems.
- Propose process improvements, and the creation and maintenance of best practices and protocols.
- Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the engineering field
- 3+ years of engineering project management experience, with experience in overseeing food and beverage storefront projects preferred
- Ability to interpret blueprints and strong understanding of the technical and mechanical skills related to this field
- Proven supervisory, interpersonal, and technical skills
- Exceptional ability to work under pressure and time constraints
- Ability to think outside-the-box to solve problems on the go
- Excellent communications skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Strong time management, organization, and leadership skills
*Required to work in stores to support frontline operations
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
