Our fine dining restaurant at the **National Bank Open** is looking to add an experienced Chef to the team.
**Event Description**:
The National Bank Open is a prestigious professional tennis tournament that takes place from August 5th-13th.
**Requirements**:
- Cooking experience in a fast-paced restaurant.
- Culinary diploma/degree is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently and safely in a fast-paced environment and manage time accordingly.
- Ability to take direction and work calmly and effectively under pressure.
- Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
- Work with team to ensure the best quality of meals are produced
- Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 1 week
**Salary**: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
