- **Looking for Piano Instructors for our Burlington location with the following attributes**:_
- a knack for working with students of all ages, 4+
- must be able to travel to Burlington studio
- piano requirement: minimum RCM grade 6
- min 2 years of teaching experience
- university degree or equivalent

**FULL SCHEDULES**

**Work Activities**:
Planning individual lessons and overall schemes of work;
Developing knowledge of materials and repertoire for students at different stages of their musical development;
Teaching individual and/or group lessons lasting from 30 minute to an hour, usually incorporating elements of general musicianship, such ear training and theory, as well as instrumental technique and interpretation;
Arranging lesson schedules, and entering students for examinations;
Communicating with parents about their child’s lessons and progress;
Preparing pupils for performances, examinations, auditions and festivals;
Assessing students abilities, providing feedback and writing progress reports;
Motivating students and encouraging progress.

- Burlington, ON L7M 4B8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- teaching: 2 years (preferred)
