Calgary, Canada CJ Glass & Mirrors Inc. Full time

**Basic Function**

Under the direction of an installer, responsible for assisting with the measuring, documentation, and installation of all products offered by CJ Glass & Mirror.

**Specific Responsibilities**

**Measuring and Installation**:

- Assist with the measuring of products including, but not limited to; mirrors, shower and tub enclosures and wire shelving
- Pull, organize, double check, and load all required tools and product onto the vans at the beginning of each shift
- Ensure all appropriate documentation is ready for that days’ job
- Assist the installer with completing prep work, modifications and double checking the measurements of all products
- Maintain inventory of all required parts and tools on the vans
- Help communicate and track damaged and returned product, so items are ordered in a timely fashion and communicated to the correct people

**Documentation**:

- Document all measurements as required by CJ Glass & Mirror and as directed by the onsite installer. This can include photographs, drawings and detailed notes
- Update Jobber showing appropriate photos, notes and additional details for every job each day
- Help complete all associated paperwork with every job order before the end of each business day

**Safety**
- Demonstrate competence using all required tools and machinery
- Wear appropriate clothing including assigned PPE
- Follow all safety protocols in place both in the warehouse and in the field
- Assist with the completion of any safety paperwork at the beginning, during and at the end of every shift

**Facility/Equipment**:

- Handling of tools, supplies, equipment, and vehicles as required
- Ensuring all environments are left the same or cleaner than when accessed

**Customer Service**:

- Serves customers by providing product and service information and resolving product and service problems
- Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer’s complaint, and documenting clearly (on a separate document if not a part of the original order) for the office staff to clearly understand

**Processes/Procedures**:

- Follows all company and safety policies set in place for the position and / or company and / or job site

**Organizational Interplay**:

- Interfaces daily with estimators, customer service, warehouse staff, installers, other helpers and management regarding schedules and work order instructions

**Field Operations**:

- Ensures that the field paperwork is complete, accurate and communicated to all appropriate parties

**Physical Requirements**
- Ability to work at a desk, conference table, or in meetings of various configurations
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to bend and twist, sit, stoop, kneel, push, pull and crawl
- Ability to lift 70 lbs
- Ability to carry 70 lbs
- Ability to operate office equipment
- Ability to reach in all directions

**General Requirements**
- In possession of a valid Glass 5 Drivers’ license (Alberta), or to be able to obtain within six months of employment
- Skill to read and write at a level sufficient to perform required duties
- Understand and carry out oral and written instructions independently
- Establish and maintain accurate records and provide data as requested
- Operate a variety of machines and equipment including vehicles, trucks, forklift, etc.
- Establish and maintain effective work relationships with staff, clients, suppliers, etc.
- Ability to pass a general math skills test
- Ability to meet the physical requirements for performance of assigned duties

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
