Edmonton, Canada HELP Nursing Agency Inc Full time

Responsibilities:

- Provide personal care services to clients in their homes, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers.
- Administer medications as prescribed by a physician.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Follow care plans and communicate any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in senior care, dementia care, hospice care, or related fields is preferred.
- Knowledge of medication administration and ability to follow prescribed medication schedules.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with clients.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
- Reliable transportation to travel to client's homes.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay

Ability to Relocate:

- Edmonton, AB T5L 5B2: Relocate before starting work (required)
