**What you will be doing**:
As a Data Visualization Specialist, you will work on high priority data initiatives for our Family Support Services to create the reporting, data analysis tools, and APIs necessary for leveraging both our custom database and Power BI. You will work collaboratively with the Family Support Services Manager and the Director of IT to provide program and client insights, through advanced analytics and interactive data visualization, that enable data driven decisions to ensure that we are providing the best possible care to the children, youth, and families that we serve. As an integral member of a collaborative team, you will support our Family Support Service areas with improving data fluidity in data collection, aggregation, and reporting, as well as providing other backbone support needs.

This is a full-time, permanent position of 36.5 hours per week and is based in office.
- Responsible for delivering monthly reporting for internal and external
- stakeholders
- Design, build, and deploy Power BI reporting solutions
- Customize reports from the in-house database (in collaboration with IT Director)
- for optimal use with Power BI and Office 365
- Tracking data errors and deficiencies
- Creating automated data aggregation and interactive visualization using Power
- Query and Power Pivot
- Working with practitioner team to monitor and resolve data errors

**What you will bring to the role**:

- Diploma or degree in Data Science, Administration or related field and/or two
- years’ experience in an data-oriented position
- Data Visualization competencies using Power BI
- (Sheets, Gmail, Docs, Sites, Classroom) with adaptability to learn new software
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to innovate and identify
- technological process efficiencies
- Analytical curiosity, strong data-oriented skills, and a passion for driving impact
- High EQ and a fearlessly empathetic approach to collaboration
- Experience working with Human Services sector is an asset
