Spray Foam Technician

**Job Overview**

The Spray Foam Insulation Technician will be responsible for the timely coordination of installing spray foam insulation in residential and commercial buildings to the required specifications.

This position shall be responsible for effectively communicating with customers, site super’s and crew. The individual holding this position shall possess the ability to effectively manage the daily work assignments, supplies and equipment as required.

Further, the Spray Foam Insulation Technician shall contribute to the company’s overall profitability and the quality.

**Responsibilities and Duties Required**:

- Daily spray foam truck inspection which includes but is not limited to, material levels, engine oil, gasoline, coolant, washer fluid, generator fluid and outside circle check of vehicle condition.
- Daily inventory of required materials, PPE and equipment needed to complete the daily work order
- Each technician must demonstrate a respectful, professional demeanor while exhibiting strong time management, organizational and communication skills
- Upon arrival at the jobsite you are required to check-in/sign-in prior to commencing work
- Jobsite pre-inspection is required to ensure a professional job can be executed
- Identify, communicate and assist with resolution of unforeseen conditions that could occur on a job site
- Must have the ability to problem solve and use good judgement
- Direct crew to make the necessary preparations to the jobsite to prevent and protect against over spray and damage to personal property.
- Understand the proper operating procedures of all the equipment required to complete the daily work order.
- Ensure an overall clean and even spray job in accordance with the daily work order
- Ensure the crew is made aware of any required repairs/clean up
- Upon completion of work a final jobsite walk through is required to ensure a professional job has been achieved. For example: all foam removed from areas to be dry walled, removal all plastic/coverings and garbage from the job site
- In the event of a breakdown, the spray foam insulation technician is required to trouble shoot/repair/rebuild the equipment to the best of their abilities. Note: if assistance or parts are required, a call to the Operations Manager is necessary.
- Ecotech Insulation Solutions Inc. shall supply the basic tools needed to ensure the daily work order can be completed.
- It is the Technicians responsibility to legibly and accurately complete ALL daily work sheets and submit upon return to the shop.
- Ability to work in different environmental conditions
- Spray Technicians MUST contact the Operations Manager prior to leaving a jobsite where unforeseen circumstances occurred and the work could not be completed.
- Responsibilities and duties of Technicians shall remain the same as outlined above regardless of being assigned piece work (1/2 lb) or hourly work (2 lb).
