Barber Apprentice

The headquarters of the UMG group of companies are located in South Etobicoke (427&QEW area). They are successfully running several companies in the barbering sector. The Upper Management Group experience combines traditional barbering with contemporary styles and techniques. When carried out by our skilled barbers who are leaders in their field, clients become passionate fans. It results in more excellent client retention, high customer happiness, and long-term success. The conventional barber cut, style, and fade are included in these services. Hot Towel Shaves, beard trims, and lineups are complimentary. Simply an encounter that encourages repeat business. Our services are offered through a sizable partner network of barbershops in the Greater Toronto Area; we are not a traditional barbershop and do not accept walk-in customers. We provide barbers and barbering services to serve the business at corporate events, trade exhibitions, television, film, private gatherings, weddings, and other special occasions.

We are looking to hire four new barbering apprentices for full-time and permanent employment.

1. Immediate opening for people looking or interested in becoming a barber apprentice.

2. The training and development are provided by us to enhance and/or build your skills.

3. Having experience a plus, but it is not necessary as we will provide full professional hands-on training at the highest standards.

4. Great industry, permanent and full-time employment.

5. The starting pay is a base salary of $18/hour + tips.

6. Preference is given to those who are not currently employed as we are trying to help with awarding employment to those in the greatest need.

**The requirements for the job include**:
1. Excellent people skills. In other words, customer service focused. Must be able to listen, attentive and have the ability to build a connection with the people you are servicing.

2. Must be Fluent in English with having good communication skills.

3. Must be able to work independently as well as being part of a strong team environment.
