Draftperson/ Estimator

NxStar Systems, a leading steel fabrication company specializing in custom structural steel and modular building design, is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Draftsperson and Estimator. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn, as no prior experience is required.

**Responsibilities**:
Estimating: Assist in preparing estimates for projects, working closely with the estimating team.

Drafting/Design: Use AutoCAD software to create detailed drawings and designs according to project specifications.

Quality Control: Ensure accuracy and adherence to standards in all drafted plans and designs.

Purchasing: Assist in purchasing materials and supplies as needed for projects.

**Skills**:**Required**:

- Proficiency in AutoCAD.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Familiarity with measuring instruments such as tape measures and squares.

**Education**:

- High school graduation or equivalent.

- Reliable transportation is required. Transit options are not available.

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
