Venture Development Institute (“VDI”) is currently looking for a full-time Investment Analyst, who will be responsible for analyzing a variety of start-up companies at various stages of their development.

The Investment Analyst will conduct equity research work and due diligence review of startup companies and investment opportunities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage multiple projects simultaneously ensuring they are delivered on time
- Conduct due diligence on potential investment opportunities
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners daily driving projects through to completion
- Support the evaluation and assessment of investment
- Clearly identity potential opportunities and issues with each investment
- Monitor the progress of each of the portfolio companies and produce the required analysis
- Maintaining and improving documentation as needed

Qualifications:

- Post Secondary Degree in related field (Business, Finance, etc). - other Degrees holders are encouraged to apply, as well
- Willing to pursue CFA/CAIA/other professional development
- Experience in G Suite (Gmail, Google Docs), Zoom, Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Knowledge of startups, business growth cycle, preparation of business plans, etc is critical
- Minimum 1-2 years of work experience in this role or a similar role
