1.In addition to your base salary, you may receive annual isolated post allowances as well as vacation travel assistance (VTA) once a year to help you travel on vacation outside the isolated post. The amount allocated is variable.

**Duties**:
Provides visitor experience product and service development advice, guidance and support to facilitate
meaningful experiences for visitors at natural and cultural heritage places managed by Mingan Archipelago National Park Reserve.

The Parks Canada team working at the National Park Reserve of the Archipelago Mingan includes 20 employees nearly 50 people in the summer. The fieldwork, exclusively on islands, requires travel which is provided by Parks Canada boat operators. Departures are from the marina of Havre-Saint-Pierre or Mingan.

EDUCATION:
College or University (minimum two-year program) in marketing, tourism, sports, recreation or museum studies, or in another discipline relevant to the position or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience related to the job’s execution.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE:

- Experience in the analysis, development, coordination and evaluation of projects and activities for specific targets markets.
- Experience coordinating multi-functional teams, partners and projects.

OPRATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Willingness to work irregular hours, overtime, weekends, evening and/or statutory holidays and provincial/territorial holidays, when required.
- Willingness to travel off-site and in park sites (training, workshops, site visits).
- Willingness to wear a Parks Canada uniform when required (provided by employers).

**Conditions of employment**:

- Obtain and maintain Reliability Status security clearance.
- Possess a valid Driver’s License (Class 5).
- May require a pre-placement medical, as per the Isolated Post Policy (personal health declaration).
