Party City offers customers all they need to plan their event with a mix of party supplies such as balloons, decorations, favours for birthdays, holiday parties, and special occasions, as well as halloween costumes and décor.

**Summary**
The Store Supervisor is responsible to ensure the store is always customer ready and for fostering a fun environment and customer obsessed culture.
**Main Responsibilities and Tasks**
**Customer Service**
- Encourages and maintains a culture that values an excellent customer experience through effective training, supervision, and coaching.
- Holds team members accountable for providing an excellent customer experience and recognizes those who excel in it.
- Uses creativity to design balloon décor and bouquets for every holiday and occasion.
- Suggests value-added and related products to customers to ensure they go home with all they need.
- Responds to and handles customer inquiries, requests, and concerns in a timely manner, over the phone and in person.
**Operations**
- Works with the Assistant Store Manager/Store Manager in maintaining quality retail presentation, through daily inspections and ensuring all store audit performance requirements are met (e.g., number of holes, labels, seasonal changeover deadlines, cleanliness, facing, etc.).
- Supervises and assists team members in daily store operations in order to meet established productivity goals.
- Walks the store daily to understand what needs to be accomplished.
- Maintains store inventory and fullness through accurate stock levels and bin caps.
- Informs team on in-store promotions, in-store deals, and new product locations.
- Assists with planning and managing daily/weekly store activities as well as seasonal changeovers and works with team to execute them.
- Provides support to cashiers and customer service representatives for cash pickups, cash closing, warranties, returns, guarantees, etc.
- Demonstrates knowledge and proficiency using helium to prepare balloon bouquets.
- Assists in the orientation and training of new employees, store opening and closing responsibilities.
- Communicates and ensures compliance with company, store and department policies, as well as health and safety programs and regulations.
- Uses professional language and maintains a professional appearance when interacting with others.
- Complete other projects and tasks, as required.
**Requirements**:
- Experience in retail sales, execution, and operations.
- Good working knowledge of department products and functions.
- Demonstrated supervisory, leadership, and/or managerial experience, or relevant ex
- Ability to operate cash register is an asset.
- Basic math, keyboarding and computer skills.
- Experience in a Party City store is considered an asset.
- Strong orientation towards customer service excellence.
- Belief in the Party City Values of honesty, integrity and respect.
- Entrepreneurial and results-oriented individual who possess solid organizational skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships, with customers, colleagues and the team in order to inspire their confidence and trust.

- Standing/walking for 8 hours.
- Lifting and/or carrying merchandise items, as required, on a regular, frequent and unassisted basis. Merchandise item may vary in weight from “light" to “heavy".
- Lifting and turning repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Lifting above the shoulder, from floor to shoulder and floor to waist.
- Walking and carrying things at the same time and pushing/pulling, as required.
- Twisting, turning, reaching and working above shoulder level.
- Ability to go up and down a ladder while carrying products of various weights.
