Bindery Assistant

**Position**:Bindery Assistant
**Type**:Permanent, Full-time
**Location**:North York, ON

We are currently seeking a Bindery Assistant to join our team at Thistle Printing. The primary purpose of this position is to perform bindery assistant duties related to folders, saddle-stitchers, guillotines, and all other general finishing work.

**KEY RESPONSIBLITIES**:

- Read and interpret docket instructions
- Assist in the operation of bindery equipment such as folders, saddle-stitchers, shrink-wrapping, drills, and handwork etc.
- Boxing and labelling
- Work in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act of Ontario
- Performing other duties as required

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Experience in a bindery or printing environment preferred
- Knowledge in piling, packing, handwork, quality control etc.
- Able to work in team and alone
- Ability to work flexible hours in a fast paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs
- Basic computer skills required
