**The hands on Production Supervisor will ensure the timely and cost effective completion of all work. In addition, the Production Supervisor will ensure compliance with all local, province and federal laws as well as administer company operating policies and procedures.**

**Performance Expectations**

**Daily supervision of all production operations to align production with demand**
- ** Drives productivity and operational excellence through six sigma and lean initiatives.**:

- ** Develops, tracks and communicates plant metrics for production, on time delivery, inventory, quality and EHS in alignment with regional and corporate goals**:

- ** Develops and implements changes in procedures that will improve quality and production output, reduce costs, improve health and safety, and decrease waste generation**:

- ** Responsible for hiring and development of hourly employees.**:

- ** Develops and manages plant related expenses.**:

- ** Responsible for successful shipments and receivables from plant**

**Manages all EHS efforts**
- ** Responsible for all Production requirements and activities necessary to ensure the safe, efficient operation of plant equipment and systems while producing the highest quality product**:

- ** Safety, Management of Change, SOP development and EHS Management System implementation**

**Education**
- ** Prefer Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Operations Management or equivalent work experience**:

- ** Familiarity with Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing tools**

**Work Experience**
- ** 1-3 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment**:

- ** Strong commitment to EH&S, quality and customer excellence**:

- ** Excellent communication skills**:

- ** Experience managing union employees preferred**:

- ** May need to work outside in various weather conditions
