BI Developper

Summary
The role of the Business Intelligence (BI) developer is to design, code, test and optimize ETL programs, reports and interfaces used within the organization.

The BI developer will be responsible for routing data from multiple and heterogeneous
sources, geographically separated across the globe, for multiple topics, to a corporate and shared data warehouse.

Responsibility
- Create, modify, execute, automate and document ETL programs (SSIS);
- Participate in the creation, modification, documentation of reports and dashboard;
- Participate in the modeling, creation, modification of database structures for the data warehouse;
- Participate in the realization and evolution of the BI architecture;
- Contribute to the modernization of the BI solution;
- Prepare and execute unit, functional and integrated test scenarios;
- Prepare and document production;
- Ensure the implementation of good data governance practices;
- Optimize the performance of requests;
- Collaborate with other specialists in his sector to define the governance rules and standards surrounding the practice of business intelligence;
- Ensure technical documentation of products;
- Support internal users.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or DEC in computer science;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in BI solution development;
- Experience with Microsoft Azure Data Stack;
- CI/CD experience, DataOps desired;
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft SQL-Server databases;
- Very good knowledge of T-SQL queries;
- Knowledge of SSIS (ETL design);
- Knowledge of Ralph Kimball's approach to data-warehousing and/or Data Vault 2.0 (Asset);
- Knowledge of Power Bi
- Knowledge of SAP databases (Asset)
- Experience with Agile methodologies;
- Junior resource mentoring or shadowing experience;
- Desired experience in manufacturing, sales, finance, procurement.
- Results-oriented, proactive and innovative;
- Good organizational skills, methodical and good time management;
- Ability to evolve in a constantly changing environment
- Excellent communication skills;
- Bilingual French and English (oral and written), this role will be in regular contact with the international.
