We are looking for a highly motivated, results and values driven leader to join our Sports and Recreation team.

**Location**: 410 Rebecca Street, Oakville, Ontario

**Hours of work**: Part-time, consisting of 2-4 hours per week on Sunday afternoons.

**Salary and Benefits**:

**Responsibilities**:

- Referee youth basketball games, ensuring fair play and adherence to rules.
- Prioritize the safety of youth participants and maintain control of the games.
- Exhibit professionalism and serve as a positive role model for all participants, demonstrating our values of Equity, Kindness, Integrity, Responsibility and Well-being.
- Wear designated referee jerseys during game assignments.
- Communicate effectively with staff and volunteers to ensure timely game starts.

**Requirements**:

- Experience working with children, youth, adult and families.
- Certified basketball referee (asset).
- Minimum of one year experience coaching or instructing basketball.
- Current CPR and First Aid training.
- Current Police Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.
