Psychometrist

**Position Summary**:
Hands TheFamilyHelpNetwork.ca is seeking a Psychometrist to provide psychological services in administering, scoring, and reporting on a variety of Psychological tests under the supervision of the Psychologist/Psychological Associate. The Psychometrist conducts and scores psychological tests, performs routine assessments, interprets and processes data, and assists with behavioral programming. The Psychometrist will provide support and guidance for data collection, research-associated activities, and psychometric testing.

**Hours of Work**:
Full-time contract (35 hours per week) ending August 23, 2024 with possibility of extension

**Location**:

- North Bay, ON
- Bracebridge, ON
- Parry Sound, ON

**Hourly Rate/Salary**:
Minimum $28.36 to maximum $35.76 per hour; Salary commensurate with education and experience

**Closing Date**:

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology
- One (1) year direct work experience or two (2) years relevant work experience
- Additional education and experience in administering and scoring psychological tests would be considered an asset
- Recent experience with mental health population
- Recent experience with children and youth with developmental disabilities
- Excellent interpersonal, clinical and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrated knowledge with interpreting data obtained through the assessment process as well as, formulating and presenting conclusions
- Basic word processing, spreadsheet, and database software skills are required for data entry and export
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety, with a willingness to contribute and lead in the culture of safety and prevention of adverse health events for clients and their families/caregivers, colleagues, other community members and yourself
- Demonstrate ability and commitment to maintain confidentiality
- Successful applicants will be required to provide:

- proof of eligibility to work in Canada
- a valid Ontario driver’s licence and use of a reliable motor vehicle; insurability on Agency vehicle insurance policy
- clear Criminal Record Check, including Vulnerable Sector Search
